Welcome to Psia. The terms below govern your use of the app and the getpsia.app website. We've tried to write them in clear, unfussy language, so you know exactly what you're agreeing to. Installing or using the app means you accept these terms.

Psia is a daily companion for moments of prayer and reflection: fully vocalized Tehillim reading, a siddur, personal commitments (kabbalot), daily streak tracking, a Hebrew calendar, and an AI-based companion chat. Some features require an account and an internet connection.

The service is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, your use requires the approval of a parent or guardian.

Use of the app requires a monthly subscription of ₪18.00 per month (VAT included), following a 7-day free trial.

A few things worth knowing up front:

• At the end of the trial, the subscription renews automatically and billing begins, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Billing is processed through your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, and renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation is done through the subscription settings of the store you downloaded the app from, not through us. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription and does not stop billing.
• Refund requests are handled by the store, according to its own refund policy.
• We may update the price from time to time. Any change applies only from the next renewal date and after advance notice, and you will always be able to cancel before it takes effect.
• You have the right to cancel an ongoing transaction at any time, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

The chat is powered by an AI language model, and is designed to accompany you, offer encouragement, and point you toward relevant chapters and prayers.

We want to be clear about this: the chat is not a rabbi, does not rule on halacha, and is not a professional. It is not a substitute for rabbinic, halachic, medical, legal, or mental-health advice, and should not be relied upon as one. Its responses are generated automatically and may be incorrect or inaccurate. In emotional distress, in an emergency, or for any question requiring professional guidance, please turn to the appropriate person or service, and in an emergency, to emergency services.

Chat use is subject to a daily message limit. It may not be used for offensive, unlawful, harassing, or harmful content, and you may not attempt to circumvent usage limits or interfere with the service.

Sacred texts (Tehillim, prayers) are presented from traditional sources bundled with the app, subject to the licenses applicable to them; the sources and licenses are listed on the Texts & sources page. The app's design, code, original content, and the "Psia" brand are the property of the app's operator and may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.

Your personal content (your commitments, progress, and the lists you create) belongs to you, and is used only to operate the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We make a real effort to keep Psia available, accurate, and working well, but the service is provided "as is," and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service, reliance on chat content, inaccuracies in daily times or calendar data, or temporary unavailability. Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount you actually paid in the three months preceding the event. Nothing here limits rights granted to you by law that cannot be waived.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login details and for activity in your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. See the account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, usually after notice, and in serious cases without it.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users: such content will be removed, and the accounts responsible will be closed.

This agreement is between you and the operator of Psia only. Apple and Google are not parties to it and are not responsible for the app or its content, though they may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. The terms of the store you downloaded the app from apply in addition to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page, and continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated version. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

These terms are governed by Israeli law, and the courts of the Tel Aviv district have exclusive jurisdiction.
